Alumni Survey

 

The Alumni Survey has been designed to address multiple aspects of alumni from Beckley College (BC), the College of West Virginia (CWV) and Mountain State University (MSU). Respondents are asked for current contact information including name, address, telephone, email and demographic information. There are also questions designed to partially measure how well Mountain State University is fulfilling its mission. Additional question have been added to solicit alumni involvement.

The survey was designed as part of MSU’s assessment strategy to determine the student’s perception of learning.  The survey includes several questions to measure behaviors that indicate learning in later life supporting two components of MSU’s mission statement: 1) Instilling a lifelong desire for learning and 2) Preparing students to assume a vital role in the global marketplace.  The three areas covered in these questions are career progress, perceptions of learning and actions that make a good citizen.

The alumni survey was administered in 2005 and 2008 so comparison data has been provided in the links below to help determine areas that may need improvement. The detailed information for both the 2005 survey and the 2008 survey is provided in the links below
